When you call,
the founder answers.
ThorGuard Defense is a Chicago security practice built deliberately small: five new firms a month, every engagement run by the person whose name is on the company.
Security is a promise.
I keep it personally.
I’m Norbert Moore, founder and CEO of ThorGuard Defense. I hold a Bachelor of Science in cybersecurity, CompTIA Security+ and ISC2 certifications, and more than five years in the field. I’m currently completing an MBA at DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, because protecting a firm means understanding how it runs, not just how it gets attacked.
I started ThorGuard because I kept watching the same story repeat: small professional firms hold the most sensitive data in their city and have the least protection guarding it. Enterprise security companies will not return their calls. Generic IT shops keep the printers working but have never run a phishing program. The gap between those two is exactly where attackers live, and exactly where ThorGuard works.
Every client gets the same arrangement: every claim sourced, every deliverable scheduled, every month earned. No jargon, no scare tactics, no lock-in.
Four commitments. In writing, on every page.
Every figure is sourced
Every statistic we publish traces to a primary source: the Verizon DBIR, the IBM and Ponemon breach cost research, SEC orders. In your profession you would accept nothing less, so neither do we. Check our numbers. We encourage it.
Plain English, always
Your monthly risk report is written for partners, not engineers. An A through F Security Score, what changed, what to do next. If you need a glossary to read your security report, your security provider has failed.
Guaranteed or free
Miss a deliverable, that month is free. Click rate fails to improve in 90 days on the Blueprint, we work free until it does. We carry the risk so you do not have to.
No lock-in, ever
Month to month, cancel anytime. We earn your business every thirty days by delivering results, not by burying an auto-renewal clause on page eleven of a contract.
Big enough to be worth attacking. Small enough to be ignored by everyone else.
Law firms, financial advisors, and accounting practices in this range hold complete financial identities, privileged communications, and client funds, yet most have no dedicated security program at all. Attackers know it. Regulators increasingly demand better. ThorGuard exists for exactly this gap: enterprise grade protection, scaled and priced for a firm where everyone knows everyone’s name.
Ten minutes with the person
who will actually do the work.
No sales team, no handoffs. You talk to me, I learn how your firm handles client data, and you leave knowing exactly where you stand. If we are not the right fit, I will tell you that too.
